Im „Tal der Hunderjährigen“ in der Provinz Loja in Ecuador wächst ein exquisiter Arabica-Kaffee, von dem es lediglich eine begrenzte Erntemenge pro Jahr gibt.
Der Ecuador VILCABAMBA Kaffee gedeiht auf 1.500-1.600 Metern und wird dort in Handarbeit gepflückt, gewaschen und sonnengetrocknet. So entsteht ein Kaffee von herausragender Qualität, der mit seinen Aromen nach Vollmilchschokolade sowie einer leichten Fruchtigkeit überzeugt. Sein weicher Nachgeschmack und eine schöne Fülle halten lange an.
Der Ecuador VILCABAMBA besitzt einen mittelkräftigen Körper und eine feine, komplexe Säure mit Zitrusnoten.
